About Mae Elizabeth
Introduction
Mae Elizabeth Connolly has been dancing since the young age of two. She was born in Morgantown, West Virginia, but most of her life has been spent in Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania. Mae’s love for dance and performing started from the moment she could walk and talk. She has been dancing with Ultimate Dance Complex in their company since 2019. Mae is a hard working, determined dancer, actress, singer, and model. She is currently represented by The Talent Group Agency.
Dance Background
Mae’s love for dance has taken her all over the country so far, whether it’s for competing, conventions, or intensive programs. Being on stage had given Mae a passion for performing and exploring other avenues of stage life. On top of dancing, she started singing and acting in 2022 and hasn’t looked back.
Mae is trained in Ballet, Contemporary, Tap, Jazz, Lyrical, Acro, Jazz Funk, Hip Hop, and Flexibility. She has trained with Joffrey’s Ballet School under the amazing Matthew Prescott, Maximilien Baud, TRIX, Tiffany Baker, Ashley Laffery, Masachi Kitamura, and Sumayah McCrea. After her experience with Joffrey’s Ballet School, her passion for dance was confirmed and her drive to do better and be better heightened more than she could have ever thought. Mae has spent numerous hours focusing on training and conditioning to keep her body healthy doing what she loves. Her training and conditioning have led her to take classes and private lessons with Blake Stanley, Jordan Torte, Holly Ryder, and Jordyn McNichols.
Mae is an ambassador for The Intensive where she has assisted and worked closely with Christie Sirota-Jordan, Rachel Siegel, and Laura Aronoff. The Intensive has also led her to working with Kevin Wilson, Gigi Torres, Ashely Day, Sherrod Tate, Sharrod Williams, Dan DeLuca, Christian Denice, and Mia Deweese.
Acting, Modeling, and Singing Background
Performing has not stopped at dancing for Mae. Mae regularly takes acting classes at Center for Theater Arts and Pittsburgh’s Civic Light Opera (CLO). She has also worked with Jillian O'Neil (Wright Road Productions) for classes on acting. She takes singing lessons at M&M Music of Pittsburgh. Mae is also a dance model and ambassador for Day of Design Pittsburgh. She also is a model for dance wear at a local store in Pittsburgh. Passion
Mae will continue to put in the utmost effort to reach her goals of dancing professionally and being on Broadway. She is making her future in dance, acting, singing, and modeling look promising. With her determination and strong work ethic show, she is set to have continued growth and achievements in her career. She is coachable, adaptable, has a terrific attitude, and positive outlook. Mae has a shining future ahead of her.
